About the Summit
The Black Health Summit 2026 is a day of learning, inspiration, and collective action dedicated to advancing health equity and improving well-being across Black communities in South Florida.
Building on the momentum of previous years, the Summit brings together community leaders, healthcare professionals, youth voices, policymakers, and changemakers for dynamic conversations focused on child and adolescent health, community-driven practices that strengthen families, and the future of equitable healthcare systems.
Through keynote addresses, panel discussions, and youth-led dialogue, participants will explore innovative models, share lessons learned, and highlight strategies that are transforming lives across the region.
Featured Keynote Speaker
Dr. Roger Mitchell, MD, President, National Medical Association
A nationally recognized physician and advocate whose career has been dedicated to advancing justice and equity in health. His visionary leadership helps shape national conversations on systemic disparities, violence prevention, and health system reform.
