 Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for our mission.

 Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the organization’s financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Utilize data analytics to provide insights into financial performance and support decision-making.
  • Support finance-related activities such as cash flow management, investment analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and Investment Committee on impact investing initiatives, including assessing financial feasibility and impact metrics.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and other third-party vendors as needed.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Assist CFO with Human Resources needs and initiatives.
  • Work closely with CFO to develop CEO, Board of Director and miscellaneous presentations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, RAMP, Fathom, etc.) and MS Excel.
  • Experience in data analytics and financial modeling.
  • Knowledge of not-for-profit entities and accounting.
  • Knowledge of impact investing principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
