MIAMI, FL — Sept. 25, 2025 — The Health Foundation of South Florida congratulates Dr. Roger A. Mitchell, Jr. on his installation as the 126th President of the National Medical Association (NMA)—the nation’s oldest and largest organization representing Black physicians and their patients. Now in its fourth in-person year and fifth year overall, the Black Health Summit brings together hundreds of grassroots leaders, health professionals, youth advocates, and systems changemakers to advance equity, justice, and thriving Black communities across South Florida. This year’s Summit will center on power in collaboration.
