Increasing health insurance enrollment plays a crucial role in advancing health equity. When insured, people are more likely to seek preventative care, manage chronic conditions, and receive treatments, ultimately reducing disparities in health outcomes.

This vision drives our investment in the Health Council of South Florida (HCSF) and their Connect to Health Miami initiative. Launched in November 2021, Connect to Health Miami has helped residents secure coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace. With 67% of enrollees receiving tax credits, monthly premiums were reduced, easing the burden on working families. Resident Stafford J. shared: “The tax credits made my plan affordable, and the counselors helped me apply free of charge. It’s been a huge relief.”
