Health Foundation of South Florida is proud to share the incredible progress being made by Catalyst Miami, Inc. with its Health Up! Insuring More Miami-Dade Residents project. With support from the Health Foundation, this initiative aims to significantly reduce the number of uninsured, low-wealth residents in Miami-Dade County and ensure access to essential healthcare services for those who need it most. The project involves establishing and expanding strong referral partnerships with local hospitals, community-based organizations, and educational institutions. In addition, Catalyst Miami is actively engaged in community outreach. It conducts informative group sessions to educate and empower target communities on crucial health access issues, such as health insurance enrollment and coverage retention.
