Learning Circles
Our Grantees Get “Around”
Health Foundation believes that bringing together our grantees working to deliver similar services can be a valuable experience, informing not only strategies for the Foundation but collaborative group projects and solutions.
In 2008, Health Foundation began convening Peer Learning Circles within each priority funding area. At its core, the Peer Learning Circle is an opportunity to discuss issues, barriers, challenges and lessons learned from those that work on the front line, delivering services within each respective priority funding area.
The meeting format is typically as follows: attendees at each meeting take time to introduce themselves and their funded projects, followed by an expert guest speaker and an ensuing group discussion on an agenda that is set by those who are in attendance.
